..........This is just part of the view from our sitting room.......... Join us for a relaxing break any time of the year. 01594 832 316 We now take credit/debit cards We recycle as much as we can and compost all organic waste. All the food waste goes into our wormery and the worms eat most things including teabags and napkins. We try not to use plastic bags and those we do get are reused - mostly as deer deterents. We try to recycle just about everything! Each week we try to have just one bin bag to leave out for the Council to collect. We are lucky in having a good re-cycling centre in Coleford that takes glass, cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, clothes, aluminium, shoes, and cans etc. We also have our own recycling bins for glass, plastic, cans, paper and cardboard. The chickens use old newspapers as their under bedding. There is an extra bin in the bedrooms for items that can be recycled for guests to use. We look out for second hand furniture in local markets which helps to give us that eclectic look and John repairs whatever he can. Books go to the local village market and clothes to the Forest of Dean Hospice Shop. |
